JAI’s UV cameras can dive deep into the ultraviolet light spectrum making surface artifacts appear in greater clarity, and allowing visualization of smaller features than those which can be seen using visible light. JAI offers a number of UV sensitive progressive area scan cameras to fit specific resolution, speed, and optical requirements. These UV industrial cameras typically have either glassless CCD imagers to enable sensitivity below 400 nanometers, or quartz-covered sensors to provide both extended sensitivity and better protection against damage.
