An Optical Fiber Identifier is a useful device for network technicians that identifies specific optical fibers by detecting the optical signals being transmitted through them. The OFI from M2 Optics is very easy-to-use (single button operation) and displays both relative core power and identification of signal traffic at 270Hz, 1kHz, and 2kHz frequencies. When traffic is present, an audible tone is activated.
