The Tavalux stands on a solid, machined aluminum base with a perforated aluminum shade backed by a white opal acrylic diffuser. A slim shaft supports the shade with a heavy duty harp and a 1-1/2" tall finial.

The base and shade have a soft bead-blasted finish; the stem and finial are painted silver. The base rests on four soft rubber feet. The lamp has a porcelain socket and a full range dimmer on its cord.
