P&K first began operations under the name Pfaff & Kendall in 1902 at the former location in Newark, New Jersey. At the end of World War II, the aluminum pole industry was born and P&K's first large project was the manufacture of the lighting poles for the New Jersey Turnpike. Since that time, the business has grown throughout the United States, with exports to Canada, the Caribbean, the Pacific/Asia areas and the Middle East.
