Ushio America offers two types of low-pressure Amalgam lamps. These lamps have a special coating that allows for transmission at 254nm only or 254nm and 185nm for ozone production. The low-pressure Amalgam lamps achieve ten times the UV power density of standard low-pressure lamps and five times more ozone production while operating at a higher temperature than conventional low-pressure Mercury lamps.
