LED lamps are available for direct lamp for lamp replacement of T8/T5 fluorescent (no ballast change required) for easy installation. LED tubes are food industry rated and meet shatter proof requirements. Significant energy savings when compared to fluorescent technology with a service life of 80,000 hours. When re-lamping is required these lamps are an excellent choice providing a lower simple payback.
