K-Factor is a measurement of harmonic content on the load side of a transformer. As the amount of harmonic-producing equipment (such as computers, printers and other switch mode devices) increases on modern distribution systems, K-Factor loads must be accommodated for when sizing a transformer. They offer transformers rated at K4, K13 and K20, with higher K-ratings available upon request.
