Brooks Product company was founded in 1910 as Art Concrete Works in Pasadena, California, where they designed and produced their first precast concrete box to house water meters in the City of Pasadena. From 1910 to the 1940's, they pioneered the use of the precast concrete enclosures for water and gas utilities.
