Lock-Out/Tag-Out, is the second most cited OSHA violation. Rules require that all energy sources be turned off and either locked out or tagged out while service or maintenance work is being performed. By protecting the worker from accidental release of energy (electrical shock, mechanical action, heat, etc.), this rule is saving hundreds of lives every year.
